Few Hill Stations of India

Thursday, June 24th, 2010

This summer we all were suffering from heat waves. Where ever we look in north India or in West India there was very high temperature everywhere. At this time almost every where in India, Monsoon has started. It is a nice time to be relaxed and enjoy the outing with our friends and family. If we are planning to enjoy the weather there are many hill stations in India.

I have recently visited the Mount Abu. It is really a nice place to visit in any season. You can feel a little cool & cloudy and little dry & sunny. Such a great atmosphere there in any season. Especially at this time the atmosphere of Abu is awesome. There are many historical places there from where you will know about the Abu Mountain. If you are interested in rock climbing, it is a marvellous place to visit. You will find many historical places to visit in Mt. Abu. According to me you must visit Mt. Abu at least once in this monsoon.

If you are looking to enjoy the time you may also go to the places from North India or from south India because during this time these places are very cool. Here you find the top five hill stations to visit in India. They are Shillong Nainital, Shimla, Kerala and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Let’s have very short look of this places.

Shillong is the “Scotland of the East India” when you will feel pretty good with the shinning sun. Nainital is the place with cool lakes and green forests. It is one of the “most romantic places” that I had seen. Shimla is the place situated in Himachal Pradesh at an altitude of 2100 Mtrs. This place is known as the “Summer Capital of British India”.

If we look towards the south India there are also some pretty places to be enjoyed in summer. Let’s have a look on one or two of them. Kerala is the place when you can enjoy the fun of sea-shore with the fragrance of Indian culture. If you are a beach lover you must go there at this time. This place is called as “God’s Own country” because of its beauty. There are “more than 300 highly forested islands” in the Bay of Bengal in southeast part of India which is called as Andaman & Nicobar Islands. You will surely get adventure at this place.

I hope you will have lots of fun and excitement which I had feel while visiting these places. Waiting to read your great experience and more places like these in which you will have fun during this time.

Quota System in Education – The burning issue in Indian educational system

Monday, June 7th, 2010

India is a country that contains the people belongs to different religions having so many different casts. Indian constitution gives same rights to all Indians to fulfill their basics. Education is the main base of any developed country.

The authority of India has taken good steps to improve education status of the Indian students. Indian Parliament has created some quota in our “Education System” to give educational benefits to some backward cast students to get the opportunity to study and build a carrier in the fields in which they have interest and knowledge. It is good for the students who are serious about their carrier and future and not able to get sufficient environment and resources.

But now it is a point to think, “Is it amiable to have a Quota System in Education”?

Why we should ask this question, because today all admission processes are done on the basses of merits. It becomes difficult to get admission for a bright and intelligent student who belongs to a religion or cast which cannot be count as backward in quota of Indian government to get admission in the institutes when they can study and get more for themselves. Those students are forced to go to some other institutes to complete their study. In stand of these bright opportunities some students from the backward cast get the admission who are not supposed to be there as per their knowledge is concern. Those students will surly effect the standard of education. Other one drawback of this system is that some financially poor students have to go for the institutes where paying fees becomes very difficult to them but they don’t have any other option.

Today we all are talking to make our education system simple and improve the standard this is very important that we take some effective steps on this too.
